Are you looking for twice the love and twice the fun?

Meet Gracie and Kirby, a bonded pair in need of a new home. Gracie (black fur with a little white) is a 12.5 year old female and weighs 6.5 pounds and Kirby (mostly white with some black and gray) is a 12 year old male weighing in at 5.5 pounds. Gracie and Kirby’s owner sadly passed away and the dogs were left with the vet, who is now trying to find them forever homes.

Gracie is very shy at first but very sweet. Her current foster states that she has never tried to bite even when her foster’s young grandchild holds her and she is nervous. Gracie takes compounded vetmedin twice daily and compounded trilostane as well as heartworm prevention. The average cost per month is approximately $50-60. Gracie had blood work done in May and may be getting a dental. She has lost 2.5 pounds since being with her current foster as she was overweight previously.

Kirby is very sweet and more active than Gracie. Kirby has a history of back pain but hasn’t seemed to be an issue in over a year. Kirby is only on heartworm/ flea prevention. He had a recent blood panel and dental.

Gracie and Kirby’s combined adoption donation is $500. They are a bonded pair and as such MUST be adopted together and stay together.

An application must be submitted and approved before a meet-n-greet can be scheduled.

Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.

Reference checks and a home visit are required so SE dogs can only be adopted in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD and GA.
