My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kirk: Kirk is a 1-year-old German Shepherd who was rescued as a stray in Palm Beach County in 2025. True to his breed, Kirk is an intelligent, energetic young dog with a strong desire to learn and stay engaged. Kirk is a sweet, friendly boy who knows some basic commands and does well with other dogs. He has not shown us any concerns around children, but due to his age and energy level, he would do best in a home with people who can tolerate—and appropriately channel—his enthusiasm. As a working-breed dog, Kirk will thrive with adopters who have some background or understanding of high-energy dogs and can provide consistent training, structure, and mental and physical enrichment. With the right guidance, Kirk has all the potential to grow into a loyal, well-rounded companion.
