My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butterfinger entered Pasadena Humane Society as a stray, and sadly, no one came for him. He is estimated to be 12 years old and weighs just under 18 lbs.

Butterfinger currently lives in a Foster home, and his foster mom shared this great report of all she's learned about him:

"Butterfinger is super sweet and gentle. He is friendly towards all people and does well around kids. While he loves to be close by, he is not a Velcro dog. He sleeps through the night in a dog bed and takes several good naps during the day.

Butterfinger loves my dog and cat, and they all get along fabulously. He is very quiet and does not bark at the Amazon delivery man. He loves food and is not picky. He also rides well in the car.

Butterfinger is house-trained and goes to the door when he needs to go out. He loves to go for a walk completely around the block at least once and then halfway around a couple of times to do his business and to smell all the flowers. (As you can see in his video, Butterfinger has a bounce in his step!)

Butterfinger does love company and sometimes he will whimper a little bit when he thinks he’s all alone. I think he will be fine as an only dog in the house, but I think he would also benefit being in a pack where he can be the follower. Butterfinger is super lovable and loves to be petted and held and given 100 million kisses."

Looking for an easygoing, well-behaved love bug to share your life with? Butterfinger might be the one for you!
