Zachary was surrendered to the San Diego Humane Society with Duchess (also available for adoption.) He is 14 years old, weighs 9 lbs., and is super sweet and snuggly.
Zachary and Duchess went on a Frosted Field Trip together, so we could learn more about them while they enjoyed lots of TLC. Their foster mom reported:
"Zachary and Duchess are a FABULOUS pair of chihuahuas (and I’m not a chihuahua person)! If anyone is looking even just to foster, these two are easy. I have a feeling they were previously very loved.
Zachary and Duchess are expert cuddlers! He loves to sleep under the covers, snuggled right next to you, and Duchess on top of covers next to you. Both used pet stairs to get on bed and couch and would put themself to bed. They also like to nap on top of the couch like a cat!
Zachary and Duchess were perfect with my cats, dogs, and chickens. Zachary is the more active, lovier one, who gives kisses and loves to play with stuffed toys. Duchess is mellower but loves head scratches and will paw you for more. Both are great nappers while also being happy to go on a walk."
