My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maggie Moo, a total lovebug who adores all people, big and small! She lives to be loved and leans into affection! She also enjoys being outside, laying in the sun and watching the squirrels! Maggies foster mom says she is housetrained, sleeps through the night, and naps through the day. Shes been a polite condo resident, settling nicely in her crate, especially when she has a special treat-filled Kong to look forward to!

Maggie Moo plays a little fetch and really likes to play tug-of-war. Since being in a foster home, Maggie, who is deaf, practices sit, understands come here, and is learning to go on and lay down with hand signals. The holidays are coming and Maggie would love to spend them with a family where she can get endless head scratches and soak in all the love!

Maggie Moo would like a feline-free family.

More about this shelter

Richmond Animal League (RAL) is committed to saving lives by giving hope, help, and loving homes to animals in need. Our vision: All cats and dogs are in a loving home with access to the support they need to thrive.

RAL has been committed to saving the lives of animals and finding loving homes for pets for over 45 years. Since 1979, we’ve worked with area shelters to provide temporary housing, medical treatment, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and loving care to tens of thousands of pets who were then adopted into new homes.
