My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Woodstock! Unfortunately, due to no fault of his own Woodstock has found himself back at GHHS.
If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with a goofy grin and a love for adventure, Woodstock might just be your perfect match! This handsome boy is full of personality, playful, smart, and always ready to make you laugh.
Woodstock’s favorite things in the world? Water, toys, and balls! Whether he’s splashing around, chasing his favorite squeaky toy, or showing off his fetching skills, he’s happiest when he’s having fun with his people.
He’s a clever guy who picks up on training quickly and loves to stay busy. A home that enjoys playtime, outdoor adventures, and keeping his brain engaged will make him thrive.
Woodstock gets along great with other dogs and would love a canine buddy to romp around with. However, he’s not a fan of cats and would do best in a home without them. Because he can get a little too enthusiastic during play, he’s looking for an adult-only home or one with older teens who understand his playful energy.
If you’re ready for a life filled with laughs, splashes, and plenty of tail wags, come meet Woodstock, the lovable goofball who’s sure to steal your heart!

Woodstock's adoption fee is covered by Stanely Steemer with an approved application. Apply at ghhs.org

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
