My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chumley, the almost 1-year-old boxer mix with a heart of gold. Chumley is eager to please and has a gentle nature, but could benefit from learning basic obedience and manners. He may feel nervous without one of his brothers around, but with time and confidence-building, he has the potential to become the most loyal companion. Chumley's reaction towards cats and kids is uncertain, but he generally gets along well with other dogs. He is very food-motivated, and high-end treats can be particularly effective in training him. While Chumley doesn't pay much attention to toys when food is around, he enjoys playing with them. His ears are at a level 2-3 of shepherd with room to grow and develop. If you are looking for a sweet and loyal dog who is eager to learn and grow with you, consider welcoming Chumley into your home. Adopt Chumley today and experience the joy of nurturing a loving and devoted canine companion.

If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together!

All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. If you have a dog currently, you should bring him/her along to meet the new dog so we can see how everyone interacts.  Please visit our website for additional information.
