Hello! My name is Alfalfa. I am part of the Little Rascals litter. I was born in Alabama and was brought to rescue in Minnesota.
I am a cuddly and sweet boy! I love nothing more than to sit on your lap, and I love to put my paws on your shoulders and put my head up by your neck.
When I run, all four paws come off the floor. It is like I have springs built into my paws. I am pure entertainment and give my foster family a lot of laughs. I love playing with toys and carrying something around in my mouth.
I’m a smart boy who is treat-motivated. I know sit and will go to my crate when asked, but I like a treat for doing so. I sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family is away.
I’m doing great potty training. I recently started running to the door when I need to go outside.
I currently live with 3 dogs. Two resident and another foster. I play well with each one. I listen to and learn from the older dogs. If you are looking for a sweet, calm, submissive puppy, I’m your boy.
Warning: if you meet me, you’ll fall in love! If you want to test this theory, come to an adoption event or put in an application to show interest. This will get you a one-on-one with me.
Hope to see you soon ❤️Alfalfa❤️

All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.

The mission of Warrior Dog Rescue is to save the dogs that are homeless, left abandoned in shelters, are surrendered by their owners, those that are being abused and neglected, and those that are left wandering. We are committed to providing them the medical care they need, helping them to overcome their past by providing them loving, educated foster homes, finding them their perfect forever home by means of a thorough adoption process, and guiding them on their journey into their new life. They all deserve a “good dog life… every single one of them.”
Warrior Dog Rescue will be a model rescue by partnering with overcrowded shelters that need to make room for more abandoned dogs. We will continue to educate others about responsible dog ownership in regards to safety, spay/neuter, nutrition, obedience, socializing, abuse, and neglect. We acknowledge that we will have a role in this industry to take the lead on providing awareness to others in the community and across the country. Every dog will know what it feels like to be loved till the end of their life.
