My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rembrandt– This sleek, rich black kitten with the bright eyes is as loving as he is handsome! He is a happy kitten that enjoys spending time on the screened area where he can watch everything happening outside and still be ready to join in the fun with the other kittens. He also enjoys snuggling in volunteer’s laps and getting petted. When he is not snuggling, he is usually busy playing and having fun with all the other kittens or watching dogs being walks and birds strolling in the grass.

Why not complete an application today to make an appointment to meet this great looking happy kitten? See for yourself what a loving addition Rembrandt would make to your home.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
