Meet Hubie, a joyful pup around two years old who is ready to bring endless happiness into your life! This handsome dog, with his sleek black coat accented by a bit of white on his chest and paws, is all smiles and tail wags. Hubie is truly in the prime of his life, full of playful energy, and always eager to engage with the world around him. His bright, wide-eyed expression and huge, panting grin show just how much he enjoys life and the promise of a loving home.
Hubie is settling into foster care remarkably well and is proving to be a highly social and well-adjusted dog. He has been incredibly friendly with strangers and shows no signs of aggression or growling when meeting other dogs (all currently on a leash). He has no food aggression and is learning quickly—he has mastered sitting and is happily practicing the "lay down" command. He is also making great progress with his crate training, happily settling in with the help of a tasty treat!
This happy-go-lucky boy has a zest for life and a very enthusiastic approach to play! Hubie loves toys, and he needs ones that can keep up with his active play style—think aggressive/indestructible toys (and dog beds!). His curiosity and playful nature mean he’s still learning the rules of a home, and his foster has noted he has chewed a few things while exploring his new environment. Overall, Hubie has been a really good boy and a wonderful companion. If you're looking for an energetic, medium-sized friend who will greet every day with pure, unbridled joy and is ready for some focused play and structure, Hubie is the perfect addition to your family!
