Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mabel is a sweet, energetic, and affectionate girl who absolutely lives for human attention. She’s convinced she’s a lap dog — even though she’s close to 50 pounds! Whether you’re sitting on the couch, taking a walk, or just hanging out, Mabel wants to be right there by your side soaking up all the love and cuddles she can get.
This clever pup loves to play and is great at learning new tricks. She’s also very well-behaved outdoors — she never digs, runs off, or tries to escape, even when her canine buddy used to wander!
Mabel’s ideal home is one where she can be the center of attention and get plenty of one-on-one time with her people. She adores humans and will reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and tail wags.
However, Mabel does best as an only dog. Over the past year, she’s developed some behavioral issues with other dogs and has become reactive toward her canine housemate. For everyone’s happiness and safety, Mabel needs a loving home where she can shine as your one and only furry companion.
If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate, and well-mannered best friend, Mabel might just be your perfect match. She has so much love to give — she just wants someone to give it all to!
Mabel is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.

Adopting from The Love Pit means gaining a family member. It means gaining a network of pit bull advocates, ready to support you and provide you with all of the resources we can. Most importantly, adopting from The Love Pit saves lives. When you adopt, you're saving the life of your own dog, opening space in their foster home for another shelter dog in need, and creating space in the shelter kennel for a dog whose life would have otherwise been on the line. Your thanks for all the good you've done? Lots of love and pit bull kisses to enjoy for years to come.
