| Estimated Birthday | 09-25-2022 |
| Okay to live in a home with... | Cats |
| May not do well with.... | Kids Dogs Angus would do best without children in his adoptive family. |
| Physical Description | Angus has blue eyes and a color pattern in his fur suggesting he may be a Snowshoe mix. |
| Personality | Angus, also called Bubby, is a wonderful cat in so many ways. He enjoys playing and socializing with his foster family, but is also quite content to entertain himself and monitor the world through his windows. He needs that eye contact and emotional connection with his human, but once he’s sure of that, he’s confident and secure enough to be ok if he’s alone for a time. He seems to like just hanging out while his foster parent reads or catches up on email and other communications. He seems to like to initiate touching, so his foster parent waits a few seconds until he comes over to be gently petted. He checks in with eye contact and brings his body close to be petted. He’s not a fan of being picked up yet, but could be in the future. He likes gentle, conscious, slow petting when he asks for it. He seems to like to be in control in a relationship. He does like lying near his foster and cuddling a bit. Angus likes playing with a couple of different wand toys and a few rechargeable interactive toys. He can be a rowdy player at times. He seems to do well with a 20 to 30 minute playtime daily so he doesn’t get bored and stays happy. Angus is an affectionate kitty who seems to like his connection with his foster human. He’s an amusing little guy, also. He’s old enough to be able to enjoy just hanging out with his people. Angus is a courtesy posting. All applications will be forwarded to his current caretaker to pursue. |

The Yolo County SPCA is a private, not-for-profit, foster home-based animal rescue organization and does not have a shelter. All our animals awaiting adoption are in foster homes. For more information about this animal, please email yolospcafoster@gmail.com. For more general questions, please see our website at www.yolospca.org.
All of our felines have been altered prior to adoption. Kittens have been given their first shots of FVRCP, adults are up-to-date on vaccinations, and all cats have been Feline Leukemia tested (negative) and micro chipped. The fee to adopt is $135 for kittens or $80 for adults over 1 year (the fee helps cover these costs and the cost of the microchip registration). A reduced fee is available for adopting a second cat or kitten
