My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐕♥ Nala is an adorable female just out of puppyhood. We don’t know what mix of breeds she is but this girl is a high energy herder who is always on alert!

She is about 44 lbs and loves to play with her foster’s dog, who matches her in size and energy. Nala will do best with an active family or in a home with a large playful dog. Check out the video of Nala at play!

Nala is smart and is learning basic commands quickly. She is friendly and accepts a lot of affection, but she isn’t much of a cuddler. She is a bit leery of men: for example, she will accept being petted but will run if the man stands up - that may change over time. She is very good with the foster’s 7 year old and sleeps next to her at night.

Nala's $275 adoption fee includes a microchip, vaccinations, and spay surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours.

Submit Application

Visit AnthemPets.org/Adopt, click on the pet you are interested in, then click the button with their name to apply to meet them.

2.
Meet the Pet

Your submitted application will be reviewed and if you are a good match for the pet, you will be contacted to have a Meet & Greet.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If it is a love match you will be asked to complete the Adoption Contract and submit the adoption fee.

4.
Take the Pet Home

5.
Home Check

Home checks are for dogs only and may occur before adoption.

All of our pets are fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.
