My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Alvin! 🐾

Alvin is a handsome tabby boy with a heart as warm as his stripes! He’s a sweet and gentle kitty who may take a little time to warm up at first — but once he does, get ready for the purrs to start. 💕

He’s been raised around kids, cats, and dogs, so he’s comfortable in a busy home and knows how to get along with everyone. Alvin has been fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and even has his rabies shot — he’s all ready to go!

Now all Alvin needs is a forever family to love him for the amazing boy he is. Give him a little patience, and he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty and affection. 🏡🐱

More about this rescue

Founded in 2020, Friends of Felines Rescue initially began in Rio Linda and now proudly serves both Rio Linda and its surrounding areas. Our mission is simple: to tackle cat overpopulation while supporting local communities. We're all about nurturing and protecting our furry friends by providing loving foster homes for orphaned, sick, and injured cats until they're healthy and ready for their forever homes. We're big advocates for spaying and neutering, not just for our beloved pets but also for our community cat colonies. As a volunteer-driven nonprofit, we're dedicated to the art of Trap-Neuter-Return, lending a helping paw by providing free training on trapping, traps for those in need, and information on low-cost surgeries. We rescue kittens and friendly strays, prepping them for loving families. Our aim? Spreading love and care for our cat friends!
