We adopted Nin from a rescue about 4 years ago. He is a great pet in many regards: housetrained, friendly, likes walks and attention. He knows basic commands (sit, stay, place, circle). He likes to play fetch, although he can not catch. He is food motivated. He does not like the rain or snow. He has not been allowed on beds or couches while we have had him, but he still likes to get his front paws up there whenever he can.
He has been on a blend of Farmer's Dog (nights) and Hill Science Diet (mornings). He is in great health.
Reason for rehome: A couple of years ago, he started showing sporadic aggression toward our 10 year old, including nipping (once breaking skin). We worked with a trainer and everything seemed to be going in the right direction for a year, then he growled at my son again when he was hugging his mom. Also, he lacks awareness of his size and surroundings when he get excited. For these reasons, he should not be in a home with children, cats, or older people.
