Foster or forever home wanted: Meet Sir!

50lbs of Muscle, 100% Heart, Sir is our newest stud-muffin sweetheart. Short, strong, and built like a tank, this boy is the definition of a boxer/pit/mastiff powerhouse: compact, forward, 50-pound bundle of raw muscle and youthful charm.

Sir was found as a stray in the Perris/Riverside area, where he was roaming with a group of dogs being fed by Good Samaritans who fell for him fast, describing him as affectionate, loving, playful, and impossible not to adore. True to his reputation, Sir is incredibly social with all humans and deeply enjoys engagement, connection, and play. He loves fetch, leans hard into affection once trust is built, and carries a classic “happy tail always wagging” energy that could power a small wind turbine.

When meeting other dogs, Sir shows up strong and enthusiastic at first, leaning toward pawing, bouncing, jumping, and some over-the-top mouthy puppy excitement, but notably not reactive at the fence line with other dogs. Given clear boundaries, structure, and confident leadership, his behavior and personality indicate he would settle beautifully and respond well to guidance. He’s young, smart, and wants direction — he simply needs someone who understands how to provide it. For these reasons, Sir is not recommended for first-time or novice dog owners. He will thrive most with an experienced handler who can offer calm, consistent leadership and follow-through.

Sir is proof that sometimes the strongest-looking dogs are the biggest softies once they know they’re safe. He doesn’t need perfection, he needs leadership and loyalty. Sir doesn’t want a home for now, he wants a home that sticks. If you’re ready to guide a dog who’s equal parts powerful and loving, Sir might just be your perfect match.
