Rosy the Plott hound pup is ready to prance into your heart. At only 8 weeks old and 9lbs, you’ll fall in love with her soft brindle coat. Plott hounds are known to be smart and this girl already knows how to sit on command. She’ll need a family that’s not only patient, because she is still a puppy but one ready to train an intelligent dog. She’s enjoying the company of her foster brothers, but ultimately wants to be the center of attention and will climb on top of them to get it. Rosy would do fine as a solo pet or with the company of others. Send in an application if you’re ready for puppy breath kisses and constant cuddles.

Puppies - We do not adopt puppies under 16 weeks to out of state adopters. This is due to our spay/neuter policy, and all dogs must be spayed/neutered before leaving Georgia state lines. We do not adopt siblings to the same household.

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
