She’s thriving in her foster home alongside other dogs and even does well with dog-savvy cats—what a good girl!

This sweet lady walks nicely on leash, is super cuddly, and absolutely soaks up attention whenever it’s offered.

True to her pointer roots, Hillary has a fun, playful energy and loves to stay busy.

Because she can get a little enthusiastic when she’s excited, older kids would be the best fit for her.

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like-minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
