Hi there, I’m Shadow! I came all the way up from down south as a young puppy, looking for my forever family here in Wisconsin. I actually found one for a little while, but through no fault of my own, I’m back and hoping this time it’s forever! I am a little older now from when I was last here, but I'm still full of energy, curiosity, and love. I’m working on my manners and learning how to channel all that puppy excitement in the right ways. I get along great with other dogs and would love a playmate to burn off energy with. I’d also do well with kids who can keep up with me and help me keep learning. I’d be happiest in an active home that can give me plenty of exercise, playtime, and adventures. I love to stay busy and would make an awesome companion for someone who enjoys walks, play sessions, or outdoor fun. HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
