My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oh, hi there! I’m Gucci! Don’t you love my big puppy-dog eyes and my adorable little smile? I’m a sweet, affectionate little boy with the biggest heart—and I’m on the search for my forever home. If you want a best friend who will love you more than anything, I’m your guy. I’m the ultimate cuddle bug: I love hugs, snuggles, and kisses, and I’ll happily spend the day curled up next to you (or in your lap!). I’m also the kind of pup who wants to be right by your side—your little shadow—following you from room to room, keeping you company, and just being wherever you are. I’m playful, silly, and I love to have fun—whether it’s playing with toys, goofing around, or heading out for walks. I’d be thrilled to be your sidekick for errands, outings, and adventures… and then come home and melt into your arms for more cuddles. I was rescued by Beagle Freedom Project from a heartbreaking situation. Before I was saved, I was living outside in a parking lot, tethered to a car. But despite my rough start, I’m still the most darling, loving pup you’ll ever meet—and I’m ready to pour all that love into a family of my own. I also do well with other dogs, and I may do well with cats too (with a proper, slow introduction). Mostly, I’m just an all-around amazing little companion who’s ready to be someone’s whole world. Could that someone be you? 🐾💛

📍 My Location: Nowata, OK - but I can be transported ANYWHERE in the USA!

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
