A sweet and playful girl who is ready to brighten someone’s life! Susie has a joyful spirit and a big love for toys—especially stuffed ones. Give her a plush squeaky toy, and she’ll happily toss it around with the cutest enthusiasm.
Susie is also a total lovebug. She melts for gentle pets, belly rubs, and all the cuddles you’re willing to give. Whether she’s leaning in for affection or enjoying a calm moment by your side, she’s happiest when she’s with her people.
Out on walks, Susie is generally easy to handle. She does well on the leash and doesn’t pull much, though she will benefit from continued training to help her feel more comfortable and confident around other dogs while on leash. With patience and consistency, she’s sure to improve—she’s a smart girl who wants to please.
This good-natured pup is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who loves toys as much as she loves snuggle time, Susie might just be the perfect match for you. Come meet her—you’re sure to fall in love!

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
