Brody is a shy 2-year-old, 95 lb. boy, who sadly was abandoned and left in boarding when a rescue group closed its doors.
Brody is a little nervous with new people but once he gets to know you, he’ll be your most loyal companion. He is calm, playful, gentle with other dogs and loves to play catch with his trusted two-legged friends. He enjoys being by your side and will sit calmly and smile when he’s ready for affection and belly rubs. It might take some time to earn his trust… but the love he offers in return will be worth it.
(No kids please, they scare him).
House-trained, neutered, current on vaccines and ready for a home to call his own.

All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.
Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.
We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.
