This helps Second Chance Dog Rescue with pet care costs.
Introducing Stripes! Stripes is a one year old, 35 pound mix which we believe to be pug and whippet. Cool, calm, and collected, little Stripes is a silly girl with a heart of gold. Never missing an opportunity to cuddle up in bed, the couch, or nestle up to her humans and lay her head on your shoulder, she lives for the love. Cat-like in demeanor, she would rather enjoy a good indoor play with a squeak toy or a bone as opposed to going on long walks. In fact, her perfect afternoon is a short 15 minute jaunt around the neighborhood following by a little scrimmage with a similarly sized companion and perhaps some quick zoomies through a wet, grassy field. She’s great at keeping herself occupied with toys, her harness, or a remote if you aren't paying attention. A little shy around large dogs, she warms up quickly when she realizes they are not a threat. She’s currently working on her cat manners but is showing lots of promise and no longer chases them. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
