My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olive is a young, energetic girl with a heart full of love and a zest for life! She's a happy, affectionate girl who has the most amazing zoomies and is ready
to bring that joy to her forever home!

Olive is still very much a puppy in spirit and behavior. She's friendly, playful, and just needs someone to teach her how to be a good companion. She's currently learning basic manners like not jumping up and keeping all four paws on the ground.

This girl gets along well with her foster siblings. She's curious and busy like any young pup, so supervision and appropriate chew toys are a must. Olive is comfortable being left alone during the day with access to a secure yard and shows no signs of separation anxiety.

Olive will thrive in an active home with patience, structure, and plenty of opportunities to burn off that puppy energy. If you're ready to guide this sweet, exuberant girl through her puppyhood and watch her blossom into an amazing companion, please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch. (JP)

Olive weighs 53 pounds.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue dog! Whether you adopt from Rocket Dog or another rescue group, the fact is you will save a life. Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! The first step in our adoption process is completing an adoption questionnaire here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

From there, you will be contacted by a volunteer to talk more about what you're looking for and if the dog you're interested in might be a good fit.

Go meet their pets

Our dogs live both in foster homes and at the Rocket Dog Sanctuary in Oakland. The best way to arrange a meeting for a specific dog is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website here: https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

We have adoption events every weekend throughout the Bay Area, which you can see here - https://www.rocketdogrescue.org/events/
