My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Did you ever hear of those cats that just one day choose to not be an outdoor cat? That’s Winifred. On a balmy fall day, Winifred appeared outside the Project Meow recovery space window and a volunteer opened the window for her and she gladly jumped into the welcoming arms of domesticated life. Winifred is an unbelievably sweet and affectionate kitty, who would do well in a home with kids or other cats. She loves to be held, where she’ll constantly nuzzle up against your face and neck, and even play with your hoodie strings. Her wide eyes and trusting gaze resemble something out of an animated movie (we think she looks a bit like Toothless the dragon). While Winifred is finally off the streets, she can’t wait to complete her domestic dreams and take the final step into your heart and home.

Winifred Willows is 1-2 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Project MEOW Adoption Fees – Effective March 15, 2023

Cats/kittens under 1 years old: $125 + 8% sales tax = $135
Cats ages 1-9 years old: $100 + 8% sales tax = $108
Senior cats ages 10+ years old: $75 + 8% sales tax = $81
Adopt 2 cats and save $25 off the total adoption fee

* You must be 18 or older to adopt. If you’re under 18, you must have a parent or guardian submit an application on your behalf.
* All cats must be kept indoors. In special circumstances, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis.
* We do not adopt to any home that will declaw an animal. Declawing is cruel and unnecessary.
* All cats/kittens must be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.
* Kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs or into a home with another active cat or cat-friendly dog.
* Your adoption fee helps to cover a small part of the costs of veterinary care. However, we strongly recommend that you take your new kitty to your vet for a check-up shortly after adopting to establish a relationship and a lifetime of regular check-ups and care.
