My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pluto — 6 Months Old | 25 lbs | Playful, Loving Pup Seeking His Forever Home

Pluto is a happy, adventurous puppy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Curious and playful, he enjoys romping around with toys just as much as curling up for quiet cuddle time. What truly sets Pluto apart is his calm, warm energy—especially for a puppy. He loves to play, but he also has a gentle, teddy-bear demeanor that makes him easy to be around. His soft, fluffy fur only adds to the charm.

His Story
Pluto and his siblings were born in a parking garage to a devoted mama dog who did everything she could to protect them. When the landlord required the family to be removed, our incredible partners at SOS el Arca Animal Rescue stepped in and saved them.
Pluto has since grown into a beautiful, healthy pup in a safe environment—and now he’s ready to be in loving arms of his own.

Current Foster Home
Pluto is currently being fostered in Queens with a family of four and a cat, and he’s doing wonderfully. He gets along well with everyone in the home and is adjusting nicely to family life.

Pluto is friendly with kids, adults, dogs, and cats. He is calm, gentle, and affectionate, with a sweet, steady presence that makes him easy to love. He can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of encouragement and a few treats, he warms up quickly. While he enjoys playtime, he also has a relaxed, teddy-bear energy that makes him a wonderful companion.

Training & Growth
Like all puppies, Pluto is still learning leash manners and basic cues. He’s smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, making him an excellent candidate for a puppy training class and continued positive reinforcement.
