Atticus is a super sweet, affectionate boy who just wants to be with his people. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was understandably shut down and unsure. But as he’s built trust with volunteers and staff, his true personality has come shining through...and it’s a good one!

Once Atticus knows you, he loves you. He gets so excited when his favorite humans show up at his kennel that he can hardly contain his joy - wiggles, happy energy, and all. He’s the kind of dog who will try to hustle his way over just to say hello because being near people is his favorite thing.

This sweet guy is affectionate, loves being petted, and thrives on attention from his humans. He enjoys walks and yard time to burn off some energy. Afterward, he's all about some cuddles. Atticus has made great progress in his training and continues to improve every week, showing just how much potential he has in a loving home. He would thrive with an owner who can handle a big strong dog, and who is willing to continue his training after adoption so that Atticus can be the very best version of himself.
