My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Amelia: Petite Princess, Attention Enthusiast, and House Boss Extraordinaire ??

Hello, world! I’m Amelia—a tiny kitten with a big personality. I might be small, but don’t let that fool you: I’m the one running the show around here.

I adore attention and love being held, and scratches are my absolute favorite (keep them coming, please!). While some kittens are into rough-and-tumble play, I’m more of a princess—I prefer gentler fun and keeping things classy. My foster says I have a diva streak, but really, I just know what I want and I’m not shy about it.

Even though I’m confident on my own, I’d be happiest with another gentle kitten in my forever home—someone sweet enough to fall in line with my royal ways. Together, we can nap, cuddle, and keep the household in perfect order (with me in charge, of course).

Please note:

  • Amelia needs a playmate in her new home
  • Indoor only

More about this rescue

Every day adult and senior cats with treatable medical and behavioral conditions are euthanized. GIVE ME SHELTER's goal is to rescue these cats from certain death and place them into loving permanent homes.
GMS is a registered 501(c)3 organization and is dedicated to helping stop the overpopulation of unwanted and abandoned cats. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who are committed to bettering the life of adult cats who no longer have a home to call their own. Every time you adopt from us, you allow us to save another cat that would have otherwise died. We receive new cats into our system almost every week. Our website is constantly being updated, so please check back often!
