Monty: Gentle Giant, Playtime Pro, and Feline Friend Extraordinaire

Hey there, I’m Monty — a sweet, chunky, playful guy with a heart as big as my paws. I may take a little time to warm up, but once I trust you? I’m all in for head rubs, cheek scratches, and especially brush time (which I might try to turn into playtime — brushes are basically sneaky toys, right?).

I was rescued in partnership with ACT Spay Neuter Clinic in Stockton, and now I’m living the good life in San Francisco while I search for my forever home.

From the moment I stepped out of my crate, I’ve been brave and curious — ready to explore, snack, and zoom my way around the house. I love feathers, toy mice, and showing off my playful side. And I’m a proud FIP survivor, healthy and thriving, with plenty of energy and love to give.

Here’s something important about me:
I really blossom with another friendly cat around. I adore feline companionship — having a buddy boosts my confidence, helps me feel secure, and brings out my happiest, silliest self. I would love to go home with a furry friend or join a household that already has a kind, playful cat.
