Meet Marcus, our Little Miracle
Marcus went two and a half weeks without eating. On the brink of death, we were terrified he wouldn’t survive. But day by day, he kept holding on. And then one day… he decided to eat again. From that moment, he began to grow stronger, first lifting his head, then wagging his tail, and eventually walking again.
Marcus spent over a month at the vet fighting to survive parvovirus and he beat the odds.
But his journey didn’t end there. After months of dedicated care from his loving foster, we finally learned what he’s been battling all along: Addison’s disease. It’s a lifelong condition that will require ongoing management but if there’s one thing Marcus has shown us, it’s that he’s a fighter.
Today, we are beyond grateful to have him with us. He’s happy, playful, and full of love, proof that hope and compassion can work miracles.
Now, Marcus is looking for his forever home someone special who’s ready to continue his journey with him, ensuring he gets all the love and care he deserves.
♥Great with dogs, cats, and kids
♥Housetrained and snuggly as can be
Marcus is available for foster-to-adopt in Pennsylvania or adoption in the Lancaster, South Carolina area. He’s currently located in South Carolina, but transport to Pennsylvania will be provided for his future family.
If you have any questions, please reach out to us at mostlymuttz@gmail.com.
Per our rescue partner’s request, Marcus will remain in his current foster home in South Carolina until he’s ready to head to his forever home — so he does not need a foster home at this time.
