Meet Sage — a 4-year-old, 18-pound Boston Terrier mix with a gentle heart and a whole lot of love to give.
Sage is incredibly friendly and social. She wants to say hello to every dog she meets and happily soaks up pets from friends and strangers alike. She’s wonderful with kids, adults, men, and women, and she truly enjoys the company of other dogs.
At home, Sage is a lazy couch-potato who loves being close to her people. While she’s not a lap dog, she absolutely enjoys cuddling, being pet, and hanging out right by your side. Toys aren’t really her thing, but treats definitely are — food is the way to her heart!
Sage is house-trained and walks nicely on a leash.
Sage is still adjusting to NYC, and the busy environment and loud, sudden noises may startle her at first. With time, patience, and reassurance, she continues to gain confidence every day. She even handled a train ride like a champ!
Gentle, loving, and eager to connect, Sage knows the command “come” and just wants to be near her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will adore you endlessly and happily curl up nearby, Sage may be the perfect addition to your family.
