My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Luna!

A spirited two-year-old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix currently in Phoenix, AZ, whose essence is a dazzling blend of loyalty and playful energy, all wrapped in a stunning black coat accented with tan and white, and yes, she’s got those unforgettable icy blue eyes.

Luna is a sweet-natured girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for her favorite game: fetch! She’s house-trained, uses a doggy door like a pro, and knows her basics like sit, stay, paw, and lie down. Guided by her deep food motivation and her eagerness to learn, she’s the kind of pup who thrives with structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Luna enjoys daily walks (twice is her sweet spot!) and would absolutely blossom in a home with a fenced yard, where she can stretch her legs and zoom around to her heart’s content.

She currently lives with a blind dog and she handles it well, though her play style is on the bouncy side, which can be a bit much for more mellow or older canine companions. Luna gets along with most dogs, but she’s happiest around those who enjoy playtime as much as she does. On walks, she might get a little excited when spotting other dogs, so continued leash training and guidance will help her stay on her best behavior.

What makes Luna truly special is her affectionate nature. She forms deep bonds with her person, often gravitating to that one special human in the house. She’s lived around toddlers and done well, but due to her enthusiasm during play, a family with children aged six and up might be the best match.

Independent yet deeply loving, energetic yet obedient, Luna is looking for a pet parent who is active, committed, and ready to share a life full of adventures, morning fetch sessions, evening cuddles, and everything in between! She’s brushed twice a week to keep her beautiful coat looking sleek, and she’s ready to settle into a new loving environment where she can run, play, and love with her whole heart.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our ultimate goal is to unite as many animals with loving pet parents as possible, so we strive to make it easy to adopt a dog or cat you have fallen in love with. All we ask is that you fill out an adoption application so that we have all the information we need to determine that you'll be able to provide a safe and compassionate home to one of our rescued pets. Once approved, all you need to do is sign our adoption agreement form and provide an adoption donation so that we can continue to save more animals every day and unite them with families just like yours.
