My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

As the leaves begin to change, one little sapling at SNIPSA is ready to branch out on her own. Aspen is a three-month-old sweetheart with a perfect blend of lanky legs, floppy ears, and infectious energy. While her siblings, Oak, Birch, Myrtle, Ash, and Elm, are just as adorable, Aspen stands out with her goofy demeanor and cleverness.

Though we’re stumped on her breed, Apen is growing into a loyal, affectionate pup who loves to play, explore, and curl up beside her favorite humans. We expect Aspen to reach around 50 pounds when fully grown. All she needs is a home willing to “water” her with love, fresh air, and plenty of quality time so she can truly thrive.

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
