My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sugar, spice, and everything nice... those were the ingredients used to create the perfect puppy, and Buttercup is the sweetest ingredient of them all. While her sisters have already flown off to their forever homes, this gentle hero is waiting for a special headquarters where she can truly shine.
Buttercup might be a superhero, but her superpowers are a little more "undercover." Instead of rushing into the fray, she prefers the power of observation and affection. She is our soulful sweetheart who finds her courage through quiet cuddles and gentle tail wags. Her favorite mission is actually finding a lap to curl up in.
Being the last of her litter has given Buttercup a chance to step out of the shadows and show off her true self: a sensitive, loyal companion who loves deeply.
If you have a soft heart and room for a tiny superhero who specializes in kisses, Buttercup is ready to fly home with you.

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
