My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Mellow is a lovable cat that adores attention. She is a very curious cat and is constantly exploring her surroundings. She likes to be alone but really likes to around people. She is a very talkative cat and will cuddle on her own accord.

A volunteer writes:
Mellow is a bit jittery in her kennel and keenly aware of all the movements in her ward. She is yearning for company. I am pretty sure she is quite puzzled at finding herself in a kennel and not at home...Mellow was surrendered(with very good recommendations) as her family moved to a place not allowing pets. She is curious in a bit feverish way. She wants to meet, get petted, has second thoughts, leaves me to check her hiding box or goes on top of it, then comes back for more mingling and petting. The whole situation is quite confusing to her..Mellow is a pretty gal with lovely blue eyes that never avoid mine. Home is where she belongs so, just come to the Manhattan Care Center, meet this lovely princess and be friends for many years to come!

What my friends at ACC say about me:

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

My purr motor is always running!

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!
