My foster writes: Gatsby is a young distinguished gentleman (don't be fooled by his ear-cut) that will warm your place. He will be shy at first, but he is
very curious and once you earned his trust, he will become a true lovebug.
Gatsby likes his time on his own (he plays a lot by himself), but when
he feels the need, he politely requests to be pet, and doesn't stop
requesting until he had enough.

Prepare to find your home slightly changed when you come back from work: a displaced sock, a lamp that has mysteriously moved---Gatsby will explore and play when he is alone.

Young Gatsby is a work in progress. He has been at the care center for a while and was part of a very large group of cats. These felines know all about cats and very little about people beside their owner. Poured in a shelter environment, all alone in a kennel, they look lost, fearful and most often(although not always), choose to ignore staff "advances" and stay safely in hiding. Gatsby is no exception. Over the weeks though , he has moved out of his cubby onto his balcony and observes patiently his surroundings. He even comes forward for treats and eats from my hand some squeeze ups but still does not allow me to pet his head. If I do, he backs off with no hissing, no swatting because he is not an aggressive cat. Gatsby is showing more and more that he is more than a cat in a box or a bernard-l'ermite and in experienced and loving hands, he might just transform into a star pet. Will you give handsome Gatsby a chance?
