My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes:
Meet Aurora, a beautiful and affectionate grey land seal who is as smart as she is loving. She's food motivated, quick to learn, and lights up when it's time for training. Aurora thrives on enrichment and loves anything that keeps her mind busy, from puzzle feeders and lick mats to her favorite food toys.
At home, she's a mix of curiosity and sweetness. She sleeps through the night in her crate, loves belly rubs, and has the most endearing habit of nursing on soft things like her bed or toys when she's settling down. She's fully house trained now and even lets you know when she needs to go outside.
Aurora is still learning how to stay calm during exciting moments, especially around other dogs, and she's been working closely with a trainer. She does best with a steady routine, gentle guidance, and someone who enjoys helping her learn.
She would thrive with an experienced adopter who can offer structure, exercise, and plenty of love. In return, Aurora will bring warmth, goofiness, and endless affection to your home.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.
