My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Sid is a seasoned sweetheart with a soft heart and soulful eyes. After losing his beloved human, he's been patiently waiting for a second chance at love and a cozy home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by kindness.
He may not be clingy, but Sid has a charming way of making his presence known. He's a great communicator! He'll greet you with a polite meow, and if something's on his mind-like an empty water bowl or a freshly used litter box-you'll be the first to know. Sid is a well-lived gentleman who knows what he wants and isn't shy about letting you know.
He's affectionate on his own terms, happy to keep you company while respecting your space. But he has a soft spot for scratches on the head and behind the ears, and will purr away a storm while being brushed. Whether he's quietly nearby or sharing a tender head bump, Sid offers the kind of companionship that's calm, comforting, and deeply sincere.
If you're ready to open your heart to a wise and wonderful friend, Sid is waiting to meet you!

My foster writes:
Sid is a sweet, lovable guy! Perfect cat for someone who lives in a calm environment and is looking for a lowkey companion. He takes some time to warm up to a new place, but once he does, he loves to chat with you! He's not loud and is pretty food motivated. He does not enjoy being picked up, but will come up to you for pets and attention.

My Foster Writes:
Sid is a lovely and well behaved little gentleman who is looking for a long-term relationship with a patient person. And when that person comes along, they will be rewarded with a sweet and loyal companion who loves being brushed, gobbling up his treats, having his head scratched, and chasing a string. While he does enjoy a good chat at times, he also appreciates sitting together in the quiet, mutual understanding that it's nice to simply enjoy each other's company. He may need a little time to get to know someone new, but he will settle in and show you what a delightful little friend he is.
