My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dax is a four-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with all the charm and warmth of a good old country boy. At about 70 pounds, he’s a big, handsome hound who wears his heart on his sleeve—and isn’t shy about showing it with big, sloppy kisses.

He’s treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves spending time with people. When you talk to him, he tilts his head just so, as if he’s hanging on your every word. Out on a walk, Dax is easy on the leash and happy to take in the world at your side. Along the way, he greets every dog with friendly tail wags and a calm, gentle energy that makes him a pleasure to be around.

Dax is the kind of dog who just makes you feel good—steady, affectionate, and full of heart. He’d be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal friend to share long walks, quiet moments, and plenty of love.
