My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny!

Penny is a lovely 1–2-year-old female Treeing Walker Coonhound with a sleek, shiny coat and a striking black saddle across her back. She’s medium-sized at about 55 pounds—nicely proportioned, fit, and easy to handle. Penny is up to date on all vaccines and will be spayed prior to adoption.

This pretty Walker girl has a wonderful mix of playful energy and gentle sweetness. She’s known for her adorable play bows and her curiosity about toys—always eager to engage, but never over the top. Penny enjoys her playtime and loves being around people and other dogs. Her friendly, social nature makes her a great fit for a family, a couple, or even a single adopter looking for a loyal companion.

Beyond her playful side, Penny is an easygoing, manageable dog who settles nicely after some activity. She walks well on a leash, takes cues from her handler, and is happy to follow along on whatever the day brings. Whether it’s a stroll outside, a game in the yard, or a quiet evening by your side, she’s content as long as she’s near her people.

Penny’s combination of beauty, charm, and a steady, affectionate temperament makes her a truly special hound. She’s ready to bring joy, companionship, and plenty of tail wags to her forever home.
