Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Larry is a very sweet boy that is around 9 months old and weighs about 30 pounds. Larry is maybe a hound / lab mix.

Larry is one of the Three Stooges litter and came to the shelter with his brothers Curly and Moe. He is the smallest of the three and the most outgoing. Larry is very friendly, loves human attention and takes treats very gently. He loves to play, knows sit, and walks okay on a leash. Our volunteer said Larry makes silly faces, has big feet and an even bigger heart.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
