Let’s not sugarcoat it: I’m a menace. I’ve peed on things you didn’t even know could be peed on. I’ve chewed through a blanket, a bed, and a cable cord like it was my job. I play in my poop. I am, in fact, the reason your Wi-Fi is down. I’m food aggressive, wildly hyper, and absolutely not a fan of kids (unless you’re into chaos, in which case, we might vibe).
But here’s the thing—I’m also sweet. Like, weirdly sweet. I love other dogs, I’ll snuggle you when I’m not trying to scale your furniture like a caffeinated raccoon, and I’ve got this scrappy little face that makes people say “Aww” right before I knock over their drink. I haven’t been cat tested yet, but if you’ve got one, I’m game to meet them (no promises).
I’m neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and currently terrorizing Hampton, VA. But for the right home—and a transport fee—I’ll bring my lovable disaster energy straight to your doorstep.

Our adoptable dogs are all in various foster homes and can be met by contacting rescue. Rescue will then provide foster home's contact information. Meet and greets will be arranged between foster and potential adopters. We also have adoption events at Petsmart on various dates which can be checked on our Facebook page, Operation Save a Shelter Dog.

Our Mission
Operation Save A Shelter Dog is a foster based, IRS-recognized 501c(3) rescue whose mission is to work with shelters on the East Coast by saving dogs at high risk of euthanasia or that have little hope of adoption in their current condition. Not only is it our goal to find furever homes for our dogs, but also to educate the public on the importance of spaying, neutering, vaccinating and providing preventative care for their pets.
