Oscar is a big lanky guy who loves water, humans and other dogs!
He’s estimated at 1.5 years old and guessed to be a Lab mix of some sort! He has great temperament—he’s just a big goofy pup who loves to be included. He loves all humans and is the perfect balance of snuggly & independent.
He is very playful and knows how to play well with a variety of other dogs. He has experience with dogs 6 months old-10 years old. He loves chase, light wrestling and just lounging with his foster dog siblings.
Oscar chases cats so a home without them would be best! He can still have puppy energy—jumping, bouncing and lots of kisses. Due to this Oscar needs a home without children.
He is fully vetted, does well for car rides and is potty trained. Oscar respects 4ft chainlink fencing and loves going on walks. He does get excited and has a prey drive, but redirects with a treat. He weighs around 75lbs.
Oscar has a zest for life, he’s so happy, truly all of the time! We like to say it’s impossible to be sad around him. He’s filled with joy and always ready for fun!
His tongue is always hanging out, his ears are always floppy and he’s always ready for your next adventure!

Founded in January 2016, Creekside Animal Rescue provides shelter & care for homeless animals until they are adopted into permanent homes. This is done through a network of loving, committed foster homes spread out in multiple counties. The animals receive a personal commitment from Creekside Animal Rescue when accepted into the rescue family, that they will all ways have a place to call home and never spend the remainder of their days in a shelter ... we take our animals back at any point an adopter can no longer care for the animal.
