Do you need a friend for listening? Nugget is all ears! Nugget is a very sweet and gentle boy who was found roaming the streets of Philly as a stray. Since getting to the shelter he has shown to be an affectionate and playful boy who is very gentle with handling! He's looking for a friendly human to walk into the shelter and bring him home for good.
Nugget is now available for adoption at ACCT Philly- you can meet him any day from 10am-6pm!

Behavior Notes:
Behavior Eval 11/8/25:
Kennel Presentation: When I approached his kennel he calmly greeted me and waited for me to leash easily.
Leash Skills: He walks very well on leash without much pulling.
Sociability: He is very handler oriented and checked in with me frequently while we walk. Knows sit and is a bit snatchy with taking treats. Allowed me to handle his body all over, including touching his paws and tail. When he saw a bird, he dashed across after it so may have a bit of a prey drive.
Play: Showed interest in chasing after toys and like to romp around the play yard.
Dog Interaction: He had a very nice meet with another dog through the fence with a calm and loose body without being overly interested.
Return to Kennel: Went back into kennel with some leash pressure.
Color Level: Gave gold color
Recommendations and considerations:
11/6/25 8:21 pm stray confined dog picked up from location, caller stated dog was roaming street, police arrived moments before APO’s, no 48 required, APO’s took immediate possession of dog
11/6/25 8:25 pm dog is well behaved, no aggression or resistance shown while leashing and putting on truck
