Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Lando, the ultimate goofball with a heart of gold! This enthusiastic, fun-loving boy is known for his signature move: flopping onto his back with his tongue hanging out to the side like a silly little superstar. He gets along well with other dogs, loves making new friends, and brings a whole lot of joy wherever he goes.
Lando is packed with energy and so much enthusiasm. Whether he's sniffing out all the best spots on a walk or embarking on a brand-new adventure, this smart boy is always ready for action. He’d be happiest in an active home that can match his zest for life and keep his curious mind engaged.
Because Lando can get a bit overwhelmed at times, he’s looking for a family with older kids who can understand his needs and give him the space to decompress when he needs it. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate, bright pup to join you on every adventure, Lando is your guy!

The first step to adopting a cat or dog from Animal Friends Alliance is to fill out an adoption questionnaire. You can do this online!
The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
