Meet Harbor, a spirited pup bursting with energy and heart! He’s still learning to trust people, but once he warms up, his affectionate side shines bright. This sweet boy loves to give kisses and will happily plop himself right in your lap for attention.
Harbor absolutely thrives around other dogs, especially confident ones who can help show him the ropes. His rough-and-tumble play style and boundless enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit much for more mellow pups, so he’d do best with a dog who can match his playful energy. He plays hard, loves big, and has energy to spare—so he’ll need plenty of exercise, enrichment, and activities to keep that curious mind busy.
With patience, structure, and lots of love, Harbor will blossom into a loyal, adventurous companion. He’d do best with an active family who enjoys hikes, runs, and outdoor fun—and ideally with another dog who can keep up with his playful spirit.

The next step is to pick out a cat or dog! Check out our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs for pictures and short descriptions or come into the shelter at our Taft Hill campus. We also have adoptable cats at many offsite locations.
Note: not all available cats and dogs reside at our campuses. Some are at off-site adoption partners or in foster homes. If you are interested in a particular cat or dog, please call our shelter at (970) 484-8516 to find out about their current status and location.
We do not ship animals. You are required to come and meet your new addition prior to adoption so that we can ensure a good match.
Please note that we will make a copy of the adopters’ State ID card, Driver’s License or passport at the time of adoption.

Our spay/neuter clinic performs surgeries on both cats & dogs, and we also offer low-cost vaccination clinics every week.
Our organization's goal is to do everything in our power to prevent euthanasia due to 'homelessness'.
