My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roman, a 5-month-old gray tuxedo sweetheart with a personality as irresistible as his soft white belly. The moment you walk into the room, he’ll greet you with a big, rumbling purr before flopping over in the most endearing display of trust: belly up, paws curled, ready for love.

Roman is truly an “easy” kitten: adaptable, confident, and instantly comfortable in new situations. He’s the perfect little host too, happily welcoming anyone who visits with his charming presence and his signature adorable chirp - a tiny sound that’s somehow even cuter than a meow.

When he’s not wrestling, romping, or racing around with his foster brother Orion, Roman loves to snuggle beside you, stretch out nearby to keep watch, or perch up high to survey his kingdom. Lean, athletic, and full of playful energy, he’s always up for exploring or climbing to new heights.

Roman is wonderfully well-rounded: great with kids, friendly with other cats, and easy to introduce to dogs. He’d be an especially perfect match for a first-time cat owner looking for a loving, gentle, and low-stress companion. And at night? He’s happiest curled up in bed with you, purring you to sleep.

If you’re searching for a kitten who’s affectionate, adaptable, and delightfully charming, Roman is ready to fall in love with you.

All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, FVRCP vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

All of our kittens must go to homes where they will remain inside 24/7.

Young kittens must go home in pairs, or to a home with another cat. Infrequently we will make exceptions.

We'd love to schedule a meet & greet with you and the kittens! If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website and fill out an application: https://toniskittyrescue.org/adoption-application

More about this rescue

Toni, our founder, started fostering underage kittens that came into the local municipal shelter in 2000. By 2003 she had a network of foster parents and was saving many little lives so she became a non-profit. As of 2023 we are no longer with the shelter and are on our own. We have only one part-time employee and a dedicated group of fosters. All our kittens are vaccinated and spayed/neutered and receive all necessary medical care while in our care. We taken in strays from our partner trappers and from high-kill and over-crowded shelters, specializing in neo-nates and kittens under 6 weeks.
