My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Buddy and I'm looking for my retirement home! Would you like me to come and be your forever companion? I love to snuggle up under the covers and lay next to you. I'm not picky about what I eat and I have a good appetite .I walk well on a leash, I'm good with other dogs of all sizes and cats are fine too.
If you'd like someone to be by your side and keep you company, I fit that bill! I'm in a foster home, so give the Center a call and have them let my foster mom know!

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
