My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a gentle, goofy, smart little athlete looking for her person
She’s the perfect mix of sweet, playful, and smart. This girl is athletic and agile, but she’s also a total cuddlebug who wants to be right next to her people.

She listens beautifully, picks up routines fast, and walks well on leash, even ignoring other dogs. When she’s not proudly carrying her stuffed teddy bear around the house (her favorite game is keep-away), she’s stretched out on her belly in full frog-leg mode.

She loves walks, loves learning, and loves cheese almost as much as she loves you. If you’re looking for a dog who’s affectionate, trainable, and always down for some fun, she’s your girl.

More about this rescue

Adoption Option Dog Rescue Inc. is a nonprofit, foster-based animal rescue organization striving to decrease the number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens in shelters. We pull unwanted dogs and cats, including pregnant and nursing mothers and their litters, from owners, pounds, animal shelters and other rescue groups and provide them with all needed medical care in loving, family-centered, foster environments before searching for adoptive families and forever homes. Adoption Option also rehabilitates and trains dogs who were abused and neglected. We seek to involve community members in rescue efforts through volunteer opportunities while educating citizens and adopters about how to best care for their pets.
