Meet Trixie! So adorable she’s a Chihuahua mix with personality for miles. One of the first pictures her foster sent was Trixie hiding under a chair after Trixie screamed when she saw a squirrel. She’s absolutely beautiful. She’s available for adoption. She’s currently in Vallejo, CA

“Trixie is house-trained and crate-trained. She knows sit and stay. She gets along with the little dogs in the house and has peaceful meetings with the neighborhood cats that visit the yard. She loves to be outside and she runs like the wind. She is not leash-trained, but we are working towards that. She puts herself to bed in her crate and sleeps all night. Trixie is just beginning to play. She loves to lay in the She loves to snuggle and give hugs. She is a happy girl”

Please allow 5-7 business days to receive a response. Will be reviewed by Günter's Legacy Animal Rescue Board of Directors.
Interview
If the board approves your application you may receive a call for a phone interview.
Home Check
If application receives initial approval, we will schedule a mandatory home visit. Please note, if you rent we do check with the landlord.
Meet the Pet
We will schedule a meet and greet with the potential adopters and dog(s). It is required all members of the adoptive family must be present.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet
Existing pets, required all the pets are properly introduced by GLAR. We will not adopt a dog into a home that has reached it's city mandate
Sign Adoption Contract
If app, home check, and meet and greet are approved we move forward with signing the contract.
Pay Fee
The adoption fee can be paid by PayPal, cash, or check but must be paid at the time of signing the contract. The adoption fee is non-refund
